Blooms is everything you want from a tea room and more. Jacqui swears it’s the best in town with its comfy sofas and home-baked pastries. Abhinav’s visit was a highlight of his trip to Ireland, with those homemade scones stealing the show. R Lockhart practically lives here for breakfast and lunch, and the kindness of the staff is worth its weight in gold. Sure, Richard loved the blooms fry, but it’s not all sunshine; some might find the place a tad too quaint for their taste. If you’re after brunch with a side of cozy, this is a solid choice. Also, don’t forget to check out their shop downstairs—because who doesn’t need cute jewelry with their scones?
