Costa Coffee is the quintessential chain experience: clean, spacious, and predictably average. It's the sort of place you visit when you want a decent cuppa and a quiet corner to scroll your phone. The recent makeover has added some cosiness to the usual bland decor, but don’t expect any surprises here. The staff can be friendly, but with the occasional rookie on-duty, you might have to endure a few awkward moments. It’s fine for a pit stop, but don’t expect a culinary epiphany.
