The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
Cafe Mar-Chelles is the kind of place that makes you question your morning choices. With a hygiene rating of 2/5, it's not exactly a beacon of cleanliness, but the punters keep flocking for the breakfast. I mean, who can resist a bustling cafe where the owner even entertains kids with toy cars? Just don't think too hard about what you might be eating alongside your 'best breakfast in a long time' as declared by Charles Stallard. The decor is cute, and the prices are fair, but I recommend bringing a wet wipe just in case.
The staff, including the hero Mark, Michelle, and Sarah, have won hearts (and stomachs) with their friendly service, but let’s not kid ourselves – dining here is a gamble. You might leave with a full belly or a new case of food anxiety. Just remember, if you’ve been a bit too adventurous with that buffet, you might want to skip the gym afterward. 🍳🥓
