Chicken & Spice is the kind of place that catches your eye and then hits you with some bomb food, but don’t get too comfortable with the hygiene rating of just 3/5. Zeeshan swears by the smash burger, singing its praises like it's the second coming of Christ. Adz fell head over heels for the chicken strip wrap meal — apparently a true 10/10 experience. But don’t let the glowing reviews fool you; some diners have reported dry chicken and disappointing portions that’ll leave you wishing for more.
The place is often packed, which usually screams quality, but that can also mean you’re rolling the dice on consistent quality. The burgers and wraps are smashing, but the consistency is where things get a bit spicy. If you’re in the mood for a gamble, this is your spot.
