The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
General Merchants is the brunch spot you didn't know you needed until now. Summer loved the Huevos Rotos, but just about every dish on the menu is a winner. This place has a relaxed vibe, perfect for meeting friends or just enjoying a solo treat. With friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere, you might be tempted to stay longer than you planned. C82 found the brunch menu a little pricey but still deemed it worth every penny.
The only hiccup seems to be the occasional kitchen misstep, with one reviewer not thrilled with their chicken burger. But given the majority of praise, it's hard not to want to come back for more of their soul-soothing food and killer coffee.
