Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Muffin Break is about as thrilling as watching paint dry. Sure, you might grab a decent coffee or a pastry, but the hygiene doesn’t save it from the low Google rating. Catherine Wilson enjoys it for brunch, and Rachel Wilson agrees on the friendly staff. But then you get hit with the reality check from reviews like Tara Phelan, who had a breakfast disaster with overcooked bacon and cold beans.
The café is quaint, and the duffin sounds heavenly, according to Pratishtha Kapoor, but let’s not ignore the catcalling accusations that Louise Calvert faced. It’s a mixed bag of tasty treats and sketchy service, so approach with caution if you’re in the area.
"Very good for a quick coffee and pastry."
"Food looked good too will be back again."
"Food is excellent, so clean and staff so friendly!"
