The Muddlers' Club is doing its best to play in the big leagues of fine dining. With a Michelin star and a menu that reads like a love letter to Irish fusion cuisine, it’s tough not to feel a little excited as you sit down. The tasting menu is an adventure, with dishes that range from brilliant to... let’s say, a bit too ambitious. The venison carpaccio was a highlight—perfectly executed, while some of the other courses felt like they were trying too hard.
The staff, especially Thomas, are top-notch, balancing professionalism with a friendly demeanor. You can tell they enjoy what they do, but you might leave feeling like you just went through a culinary rollercoaster. Sure, it’s pricey, but for a special occasion? It’s a solid outing. So if you fancy a bit of a gamble with your fine dining, roll the dice here.
