Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Avanti West Coast is a café that feels as thrilling as waiting for a train – which is ironic when you need to kill time. With a perfect hygiene rating, you can rest easy knowing you won’t end up with any surprises. However, the 2.3-star rating tells a different story about the food. It’s like the blandest cheese sandwich you can imagine, and yet it’s served with all the excitement of a train delay.
People seem to have mixed feelings about it. Sure, you can grab something to eat, but you might find yourself wishing you’d packed your own snacks instead. Overall, it’s a clean pitstop, but don’t expect a culinary adventure here unless your idea of adventure is just getting out of the station.
