Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Caribfoods is like that friend who keeps telling you how great they are, but then you try their mutton curry and wonder why you’re still friends. You’ve got Raymond Welsh loving the escovitch fish, and fair play, it’s not a bad shout. But then you’ve got the other side of the coin—dry mutton and overcooked chicken that could probably double as a doorstop. Gemma Attenborrow didn't mince words, saying her experience was 'disappointing'—and that’s putting it lightly.
The vibe here seems nice, and the owner’s hospitality is top-notch, but if you’re leaving with a dry mouth and a frown, what’s the point? Sure, you might get a great meal sometimes, but you might also leave with a stomach ache and a bad taste in your mouth. Just consider it a culinary gamble with your dinner plate as the roulette wheel.
"The escovitch fish meal deal was great, but even better with the optional chilli sauce."
"The food is the best I've tasted, mutton curry, rice and peas."
"This lady gave me some of the best food I have ever eaten."
