Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Madina Roti and Curry is a bit of a gamble. You walk in, greeted by the warm smells of spices and the promise of fresh roti, but donβt let the inviting aroma distract you from the mixed reviews. Some swear by their perfectly soft chapatis and flavourful donner meat, while others have had run-ins with the infamous rude staff and questionable hygiene.
The menu might be simple, but the customer service can swing from friendly to downright frosty. Itβs the kind of place where you might find a hidden gem in their masala fish wrapped in naan, or you might leave with a bad taste in your mouth from the attitude you received. If youβre feeling adventurous and ready to risk it, Madina Roti and Curry could either be a food revelation or a culinary disaster.
"I always come here for big orders of roti, and curries, lovely food and chapati is always soft and fresh."
"Their donner meat, which is red in colour and very flavoursome with a hint of spice."
"The masala fish is all I ever order from here because its really nice and tasty."
