Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Minmin in the Wing Yip Centre is the kind of place that gets your taste buds tingling, but don’t let the hygiene rating fool you. The food here can be a hit or miss, but when it hits, it really hits. Dishes like the garlic chicken and roast pork belly in broth are crowd-pleasers, while the wings and brisket stir-fry have their loyal followers. The only downside? The rice is sometimes a bit of a letdown—too soft for my liking.
The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is lively, making it a solid pit stop when you’re nearby. Come hungry and ready to explore the menu, but remember: not every dish will leave you singing its praises. It’s a gamble worth taking if you’re in the area.
