Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.
The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest β your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Rustics Cafe is as clean as your grandma's kitchen but serves food that makes you question whether you should have just gone to Greggs. The takeaway sandwiches are decent, with staff who seem friendlyβshoutout to Stephen for making my average baguette. However, hygiene is put to the test here, especially when the lady handling your tuna jacket potato looks like sheβs just done a triathlon without gloves. π
Sure, Craig Mcfetridge swears by it, but Sophie and Anita's experiences throw a spanner in the works. A breakfast sausage sandwich thatβs drier than a desert and a jam toastie thatβs just cold bread with a smear of jam? It's tough love in the lunch game here. Just remember, it's a fuel-stop at best, so donβt expect any Michelin-starred miracles.
"Lovely shop with friendly staff, perfect for take-away lunch"
"Been going rustic on and off for years never had a bad lunch"
"Creating good honest breakfast sandwiches and baguettes plus toasties."
