The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
The Alpha Cafe is like that reliable friend who shows up but is always slightly late. Their coffee is solid, and according to Nick, you won't find a better breakfast sandwich in Brum for the price. But then, there's the older lady behind the counter whose service seems to ruin the whole vibe. Yeah, Adam and Kieran had an unpleasant run-in with her. The food is decent enough, but let's just say the service is like a rollercoaster with more downs than ups. If you're looking for a quick bite and don't mind rolling the dice on customer service, swing by. Just don't expect to be greeted with a smile every time. ☕️
If you can avoid the older lady and snag a fresh breakfast sandwich, you might just come out unscathed. The views are nice, and the prices are reasonable, so it’s not all doom and gloom. But with such mixed reviews on the staff, I’d recommend being prepared for anything – and I mean anything. 🍳
