Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
Thai Original is the wild card of Bolton's dining scene. Hygiene? A lukewarm 3/5. Google rating? A respectable 4.6. Carly is all about the food ever since the owner change, but the flavors seem to be a bit of a mixed bag. Emily and M L enjoyed their dishes, but there's a lurking sense that not all is well in the kitchen. The tom yum soup and green curry got called out for being more bland than a soggy biscuit.
If you’re feeling brave, dive into the boat noodles as M L suggests, but don’t be surprised if the next meal is a swing and a miss. Definitely a place for the high-stakes diner, come for the adventure but be prepared for a few letdowns along the way. 🍜
