Asian Spicy has built a reputation for decent curries, but don’t go in expecting Michelin stars. Ioan Williams calls it one of Bristol’s real hidden gems, but the decor might suggest otherwise. The Saag Paneer gets a nod for fantastic flavor, while the service is a mixed bag. While Abez loves the takeaway meal deal, others have had their fair share of issues, with poorly cooked dishes and a strange payment system.
If you’re after a local curry house that’s got heart, this is your spot, just be ready for an adventure with the menu. Despite some hiccups, the overall vibe is warm and welcoming, making it worth a visit if you’re feeling brave.
