Baxterstorey - Portwall Place is the kind of place where you go to feel somewhat important for a hot second. With a hygiene rating of 5, you’d expect a bit more pizazz, but it’s as vanilla as they come. Dennis calls it well designed and efficient, but I’d say it’s more like a corporate cafeteria where the most excitement is a well-placed potted plant. Murali gives it super service, but beyond that? Crickets.

No one seems to be raving, or even mildly enthused—Zafar, Laura, Tanya, and Munchy must have run out of things to say. We’ve got a couple of stray 2-star and 1-star ratings hinting at chaos outside due to roadworks and rude bartenders. Not great, is it? If you find yourself here, just know: you’re not alone in feeling underwhelmed. 😐
