Tier Achieved:
For the mildly adventurous. Non-zero chance of the 💩s.
Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Bushra Lounge is a wild mix of great food and shisha action. If you're in Bristol and fancy a taste of Turkish delight, this is the place. Arhum was all about the lamb chops—perfectly done and decent portions. Ali, the knowledgeable staff member, makes sure you feel like you’re at a family gathering, not just another restaurant. The atmosphere is chill, with a nice separation between food and hookah areas, so if you’re just here for the food, you can enjoy it without the clouds of smoke.
However, it's not all sunshine and shisha. Atiq Ur Rehman had a real horror story about the owner being rude and the lamb chops tasting like rubber. Yikes. So, while it might be a great spot for some, tread carefully and maybe steer clear of any arguments with the staff. Just keep your head down, enjoy your meal, and hope you don’t end up on the wrong side of Ali!
