Lodge Causeway Cafe is like the friend who’s always down for a fry-up but never quite impresses with their choice of restaurant. Sure, Liam loves their breakfast, calling it a 10/10, but Phillip’s roast dinner sounds like the only reason to keep visiting. Sure, the vegetables are spot on, but if the spag bol is a microwave meal (looking at you, Clifford), then what are we really doing here?

The café seems to attract a crowd, but that’s probably because it’s one of the few places open on a bank holiday.
