Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Penfold's Kitchen is the kind of spot that feels like a warm hug after a long day. Located near the hospital, itβs the perfect place for a post-visit pick-me-up. Barry Garnham loves it, calling it a great little place with NHS discount, while Tarun Kumar Das raves about the scrumptious scrambled eggs and BAPS. Seriously, who doesnβt love a good BAP? Emma Thatcher mentions the latte being on point, which is always a win.
However, itβs not all sunshine. Some reviewers found the prices a bit steep for what they got, and one unfortunate soul got a cold hollandaise on their Eggs Benedict. But donβt let that scare you away: most seem to leave with smiles and full bellies. A reliable choice for those needing a breather or a bite.
"Great little place opposite the hospital."
"The best cafe in my view in my trip to Bristol."
"Baps were delicious, latte was perfect."
