🏠 The Chalet, River View, Stapleton, BS16 1DL
Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
The Chalet Tea Gardens is your classic roadside stop that’s trying hard but kind of missing the mark. Matty loved the cakes and hot dogs, while T D was scarred for life by an anemic sausage sandwich that should’ve been a war crime. The coffee is decent enough, but it’s a bit of a mixed bag overall. Ali found the tea perfect, but poor Kyle was left parched and yelled at for asking for water.
The value is there, but the execution? Not so much. You might get a lovely tea and a sweet treat, but just be prepared for a side of disappointment if you order anything else. It’s a fuel stop, not a dining destination—perfectly adequate, but don’t set your hopes too high.
