The Grain Barge is a floating pub experience that’s as picturesque as it gets, but let’s not pretend the food is going to blow your socks off. It’s decent enough, with great views and a friendly atmosphere. The fish and chips are passable but can be a bit too battered. If you’re after a stunning locale to sip a pint, then this place is perfect; just temper your expectations when it comes to the menu.
The service can be a bit slow, and if you're in a large group, prepare for a long wait. But if you’re looking to chill with friends and enjoy some drinks, this place checks all the right boxes. Just remember, you might want to skip the food and opt for nibbles if you can.
