Tier Achieved:
For the mildly adventurous. Non-zero chance of the 💩s.
Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Totterdown Canteen is the little cafe that could—if only it had its act together. Samira loves the Wogan coffee and the reasonable prices, while Martyn thinks the breakfasts are spot on. But don’t get too cocky; Rochelle felt it was a hidden gem, though it’s more of a ‘just okay’ experience with some hits and some misses.
But, oh boy, the reviews get messy. Ellie found her cheese and tomato panini a cold disaster, while Dan just straight-up hated his large breakfast. If you’re feeling adventurous and like taking risks over your meal, this might be your spot. Just know you might end up with cold toast and a side of disappointment.
"the prices are super reasonable"
"over my past visits I've had an omelette, a jacket potato and a couple of fried breakfasts"
"It's arguably one of the best in the southeast part of Bristol"
