The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Ego At The Forest is another one of those places that promises great food but sometimes delivers kitchen chaos. Joe and Tracey found the service lovely and the set menu well-priced, but don’t be surprised if you have to wait for your table. Not the best of starts when the staff is passing you by like you’re invisible.
Overall, it’s a safe place to stop, but don’t be shocked if you find your food is either brilliant or a bit of a flop, depending on the day. It’s not bad, it’s just... a bit vanilla. 🍽️😬
