Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Ground Up is your friendly neighborhood café where the coffee is strong enough to wake the dead, and the full English breakfast is basically a hug on a plate. Joel Malone was raving about the food being fresh, and who can blame him? Everything’s made with love, and the atmosphere is so cozy you could easily mistake it for your living room—if your living room had better coffee and a slightly more likable vibe. The staff are lovely too, making it one of those rare places you want to keep coming back to.
And let’s not forget about the Ukrainian breakfast that Lady Iren can't stop raving about. Apparently, it's not just a meal; it's a whole experience. With high-quality dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, Ground Up is well worth a stop, especially on a dreary Bury morning. Just be prepared to actually enjoy your food—how dare they.
"Amazing food, all made fresh so excuse the small wait."
"We absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented."
"The food is super tasty, especially the Italian croissant and espresso tonic."
