Rowena Garden Centre Cafe is a peculiar mix of Christmas cheer and questionable cuisine. You’d think a garden centre would nail the basics, but the mac n cheese is apparently a paprika disaster, and portions seem more suited for a toddler than an adult. The staff, while friendly, can’t seem to keep their timing straight; breakfast ends at 11:30 am, and the lunch starters arrive like slow walkers in a marathon. But hey, at least the decorations are on point, right?
It’s a clean joint, but with food that can only be described as 'meh', you're better off grabbing a coffee and browsing the Christmas aisle instead of settling in for a feast. If you’re planning to eat, maybe just pack a sandwich and enjoy the ambiance. The vibe of this place leans more towards a glorified gift shop than a culinary destination, but if you're desperate for a sit-down, it might just do the trick. 🎄👎
