Greggs PLC in Exmouth is playing it safe with hygiene, but the food experience is hit or miss. Sam Alexander found the service lightning-fast, thanks to a blonde girl with glasses who deserves a medal for her efficiency. The sausage roll? A culinary triumph according to him – golden and crispy. Unfortunately, not everyone had the same experience. Neha Merani and Julian Holder weren’t as lucky, with Neha ending up unwell after her pizza and Julian complaining about the cleanliness. As for Danielle Hansell, she found the staff rude, and Poppy Small had a bizarre encounter with a manager who apparently runs on a different schedule. It’s a classic case of Greggs: consistency in some areas, chaos in others. 🤷‍♂️
