Hughsies Cafe is the kind of place where you’d expect to take a seat and feel like you’re being served by family—if only that family were a bit more cheerful. Plenty of reviews reflect on the quality of the breakfast, with both Chris and Martin giving top marks for the food and service. But then you’ve got Sean pointing out that the atmosphere could use a sprinkle of joy, while Jacob described the staff as less than inviting. If you come for the food, you might leave with a side of disappointment in the service.
So, while the cooked breakfast might hit the spot, brace yourself for potentially frosty service. If you’re in Seaton and craving a hearty meal, it’ll do, but don’t expect a warm welcome.
