The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Jar Bakery is clean, but it feels more like a waiting room than a bakery. While the food gets some attention, as daniel found the chicken and chorizo pasty to be brilliant, the atmosphere could use a little more pizzazz. Some customers rave about the bacon rolls and coffee deals, while others are left scratching their heads over bitter lattes and lackluster service. The staff can swing from friendly to indifferent; just ask Cariad, who felt ignored at the counter.
If you’re after a quick snack on the go, Jar Bakery does the job. But if you’re looking for a place to sit and enjoy a pastry, you might want to keep looking. It’s a fuel stop, not a destination. 🍰
