Level 1 Games is the perfect blend of caffeine and card games, where the atmosphere is friendlier than your local pub on quiz night. Emma and Jonah rave about this little slice of gaming paradise, where the coffee is as good as the company. The vibes are so chill, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone brought a sleeping bag for the Friday night games. Douglas and Jimi are all about the casual atmosphere—it's like hanging out with mates while pretending you’re not competitive about your card deck.
But don't let the friendly faces fool you; the hygiene isn’t winning any awards, sitting at a decent 3/5. Still, if you’re willing to gamble on a bit of grime for a killer coffee and epic Magic: the Gathering sessions, this spot is your new playground. Just don’t ask to borrow someone’s deck unless you’re ready for some serious trash talk.
