Southern Cross Tea Rooms is like a warm hug in the form of a tea shop. Dominika Dzurikova came in for a cream tea and found it absolutely delicious, with warm scones that could melt your heart. Nathan Coombs swears by their Devonshire cream tea experience; if you want a mountain of clotted cream and jam, this is your spot. The antique décor adds that extra sprinkle of charm, making it a nice escape from everyday life.
While the place has its loyal fanbase, don’t expect a bustling scene. It’s more of a quiet retreat where you can enjoy your tea in peace. Sherron Johnson enjoyed a first-rate full English breakfast, and with service that’s been described as excellent, Southern Cross really knows how to treat its guests. If you’re into quiet places with good food, it’s worth a visit.
