THE GALLEY

The Galley is your classic seaside cafe—great views, friendly staff, and food that does the job. They serve up a decent breakfast and some tasty pasties, and let’s be real, it’s hard to mess up a sausage roll. Matthew Cook thought their pastries were ‘really nice’, while Kevin L couldn’t stop raving about the Galley Breakfast being ‘awesome’. But let’s not sugarcoat it too much; it’s not exactly Michelin-star dining.

If you’re looking for a place to refuel after a day at the beach, The Galley fits the bill. However, if you want culinary fireworks, you’ll need to keep your expectations in check. Penko Penchev had a slower service experience but still seemed to enjoy the food, so it’s hit or miss depending on when you visit. All in all, it’s a nice little pit stop that does what it says on the tin.
