🏠 Cafe At RAMM, Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Queen Street, EX4 3RX
Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Cafe at RAMM is sadly more of a museum piece than a place to enjoy your lunch. Alastair Wheeler didn't hold back, giving it a one-star for limited hours and staff who seem too busy chatting to even notice customers. That’s right—if you’re hoping for a meal, you might be left stranded without so much as a glance in your direction.
Stacey Wilkins shares the same sentiment with reports of extremely rude staff. It’s a shame because the museum itself is a gem, but the cafe? Let's just say it might need a full renovation of not just the space but the staff's attitude as well. If you’re craving some decent service and food, you’d do better grabbing a snack from the vending machine outside.
"A real let down in an excellent museum"
"Extremely rude staff"
