Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
St. Sidwell's Point Leisure Centre is the kind of place you go to when you’re trying to convince yourself that working out is a good idea. The gym is modern, and the machines are in good nick, but let’s face it, you're probably just there for the post-workout smoothie. With pristine hygiene scores, the place feels cleaner than your conscience after a month of meal-prepping.
The swimming pools are a decent draw, especially for toddlers, but good luck dodging the rush hour crowd if you show up after 4 PM. While there’s nothing particularly thrilling about this place, it does what it needs to do: it gives you a space to sweat and swim, without any added drama. Just don’t expect any killer fitness tips from the staff—they’re too busy keeping the machines tidy.
"Genuinely impressed; machines are always clean and well maintained."
"Impressive new leisure centre in Exeter."
"The staff are very professional and polite."
