Tier Achieved:
Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.
The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest β your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Starbucks in Exeter is as clean as a whistle but lacks a thrilling experience. Coffee's decent, but if you're after a sit-down, you might be disappointed. Staff can be polite, but also seem to enjoy chatting more than cleaning up the tables. Funny enough, they serve coffee in takeaway cups even when you're dining in. Not ideal for a place that should scream 'experience'. Still, if you're after a quick caffeine fix, it's a reliable pitstop.
Just donβt expect to be greeted with a smile by everyone. Faye and Meg might need a lesson in customer service, as some customers left feeling like they were invisible. So if the coffee's good and the staff are friendly, thatβs a win. But watch for those tables, theyβre not getting cleaned anytime soon.
"Lovely coffee as usual with whole milk."
"Clean and tidy, friendly staff and great coffee."
"Tables tend to be left with rubbish on them."
