Guildford Golf Club is a solid shout if you're looking for a decent round of golf without the snootiness. The course is a bit of a mixed bag with stunning views and some challenging holes. John Jones raves about the varied layout and good conditions, though he did mention the fairways could use a good soak. Breakfast here is a winner too, as everyone seems to enjoy a nice meal before hitting the links.
Don’t sleep on the friendly staff either; they’re eager to help out and make your experience pleasant. Just a heads up, parking could be a bit of a scramble during busy times. If you’re in the area, swing by for a round and a bite; you might just find yourself coming back for more. ⛳️
