🏠 Gwynant Cafe Capel Bethania, Nant Gwynant, LL55 4NL
Tier Achieved:
Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
Caffi Gwynant is the kind of place that makes you want to sit back with a cup of coffee and soak in the surroundings, which is good, because it’s also an old church. Colin was practically preaching its praises, raving about the food and coffee, while Wayne couldn’t get enough of the breakfast and cakes. It’s family-run and feels like a big hug from the locals. If you need a pit-stop after hiking near those stunning waterfalls, this gem ticks all the boxes.
Bethany had the best desserts and sausage sandwiches in the area, while Laly was enjoying live music as she sipped her breakfast brew. The vibe is friendly and welcoming, but let’s be real: if you’re bringing your dog, you might have to be a bit strategic with your seating. Jonny found that out the hard way, but the rest of us are too busy enjoying the cozy atmosphere to worry about it.
"Literally one of the best cafes you can go to"
"Absolutely stunning breakfast, cakes & drinks"
"They have the best desserts and sausage sandwiches I've tasted"
