Caffi Maes is your go-to place if you want a solid breakfast without the frills. It's right by the castle, making it easy to pop in for a quick bite after admiring the view. The bacon and egg bap is a monster of a meal, and trust me, you won’t be left hungry. Rafael’s flat white might just wake you up better than a morning jog.
The café has a relaxed vibe, with friendly staff who seem to enjoy their jobs, unlike some places where they look like they’re auditioning for a horror film. However, don’t expect a menu that makes you swoon. It’s a simple affair with decent food and fast service, so if you’re just after a chill spot to fuel up, this is it.
