The Spurstowe Arms brings the pub vibes you didn’t know you needed. With a cute beer garden and pizzas that would make even the most discerning Italian shed a tear, it’s a popular haunt. C S was over the moon about their pizza and beer combo, while London Pub Map gave a nod to the historic charm of the place. This pub is a classic that’s been serving up good times for over 160 years.
However, let’s not sugarcoat it—some folks felt it was overrated. Chanel Halstead was scratching her head over the lack of cutlery for her pizza party, and J noticed the furniture is ready for retirement. A few broken floorboards could lead to some accidental parkour moments if you’re not careful. Still, if you’re after a decent pizza and a pint in a lively spot, this is a solid pick. Just don’t expect to win any ‘Best Decor’ awards any time soon.
