CAFE PLUM

Cafe Plum is like that friend who has great vibes but occasionally drops the ball on service. Jennifer James was all hearts for the sandwiches and brownies, while Jason Domican thought the coffee hit the mark but found the prices a tad cheeky. The atmosphere seems cozy enough to make you want to linger, but don’t expect a Michelin star performance from the staff. Gavin Walding had a rough day with off milk in his tea and a breakfast that didn’t make the cut.

It’s a hit or miss, really. Some are singing its praises, and others are just baffled by the ‘meh’ moments. If you’re in the area and in need of caffeine, it’s worth a stop. But if you’re after exceptional service, maybe keep walking and save yourself the potential disappointment.
