Hammersmith Lab is like your reliable friend who always shows up but sometimes leaves you underwhelmed. They rock a 5-star hygiene rating but have a Google score that suggests the food might not be hitting the mark. Helena found it nice and conveniently located, which is a bonus, but some others, like Ioana, had a downright disastrous experience with flavor and service.

If you’re grabbing something quick and the other venues are full, it’s a safe bet for hygiene, but don’t expect a taste explosion. It’s clean and accessible, but the food might want to go back to cooking school.
