The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Brasserie Transylvania is like a cozy hug from Eastern Europe, serving up hearty Hungarian fare that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The goulash soup and huge cabbage rolls are practically begging for your attention. Plus, Irma, the lovely staff member, is there to make your dining experience delightful. It's a hidden treasure that might take a bit of searching, but trust me, itβs worth the trek.
While most rave about the comfort and home-cooked vibe, one poor soul did have a run-in with old meatballs that tasted like they were on their last legs. But donβt let that scare you offβmost dishes are fresh, generous in portion, and served with a side of genuine hospitality. Just brush up on your Hungarian if you want to fit in; otherwise, you might feel a bit lost in translation.
