The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Nando’s in Wood Green is the epitome of hit-or-miss dining. The chicken is the star of the show, especially the peri peri offerings, but brace yourself for potential delays. One review mentioned a 30-minute wait due to a glitch in their system. Yikes. They did redeem themselves with a complimentary salted caramel brownie, though, which is nice.
Service can be a bit of a mixed bag; one of the managers, Christina, was apparently not the friendliest, but the rest of the team seems to care. You’ll get decent food, but the cleanliness? Let's just say the kitchen door needs a serious scrub. Go for the chicken, stay for the chaos, and maybe bring your own wipes.
