LA TROMPETTE

La Trompette is the kind of place that makes you feel a bit fancy without needing to mortgage your house. It’s got a Michelin star, but don’t let that scare you off; Irene and her family had a delightful birthday dinner here without any of that snooty attitude. Everything from the scallop lobster bisque ravioli to the beef was described as phenomenal, and it seems like they know how to impress. Kristof couldn’t stop raving about the seasonal dishes and the great wine selection, which is always a plus.

However, not all experiences were stellar. Grace found the service to be a bit basic, leaving her wanting a little more excitement for the price. So, if you’re looking for a place to indulge with a side of pretentiousness, La Trompette is a solid choice. Just remember to keep those expectations in check; the food is stellar, but there might be a few hiccups in the service department.
