Republic is the kind of place where you stumble in, hungry and tired, and walk out wondering how you lived without it. The owner, Omar, is a legend, welcoming guests like old friends even at 11 PM. If you’re after a solid curry, Deena was all about the respect and gentleness in service, so you know you’re in good hands.
Yet, let’s pump the brakes a bit. The ambience is nice and the food's got its fans, but if you’re in the mood for a spontaneous dance party, you might be a bit bored. The food definitely hits the spot, but some reviewers found it lacked the spice kick they were after. It’s a solid safe bet, just don’t expect to come away with a spicy story.
