Jollys Coffee Ltd is about as exciting as a bank holiday, which, coincidentally, is where it’s located—yep, a former bank. The coffee joint boasts a lovely selection of homemade cakes and pastries that might distract you from the fact that the coffee is about as thrilling as watching paint dry. The staff are friendly enough, and it’s a decent place for a quick caffeine fix if you’re already in the area.
However, let’s not sugarcoat it: the coffee can be hit or miss, with some reviewers leaving less than impressed. One punter even compared their Americano to weak instant coffee, which is a pretty harsh burn. If you’re after a good cup of joe, you might wanna keep on searching – this spot might just be for those who admire the banking decor more than they do their coffee.
