Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Pier House Bistro is a mixed bag, but let’s face it, you’re probably here for the view anyway. With a hygiene score of 3, you might want to keep your expectations in check. H D raves about the local coffee and varied menu, while Bequita can’t stop dreaming about the homemade sauces. Sounds great, right? But then you have Jodie Totman who found the chowder uncomfortably lukewarm and bland. It’s like they’re flipping a coin on the quality.
The food might be hit or miss, but the location is a solid win. With views over Snowdonia, you can at least pretend you’re enjoying a lovely meal while sipping your coffee and looking out. Just remember to temper your expectations and maybe stick to the burgers; they seemed to have better luck there.
