KORAT THAI

Korat Thai is one of those places that could either serve you a feast fit for a Thai king or leave you scratching your head wondering where the flavor went. The staff are as friendly as a puppy at a petting zoo, and the atmosphere is quite nice if you ignore the cold drafts. Many dishes hit the mark, with praises for the special fried rice and authentic curries. But then there's the pad Thai that seems to have a confused identity crisis—too sweet and too sour.

It’s a mixed bag, really. If you’re just after a quick meal and you don’t mind playing roulette with your order, this could be your jam. But if you’re after consistency, you might want to keep looking. Worth a try if you're in the area but don't set your expectations too high.
