🏠 The Horatia, 98-100 Holloway Road, London, N7 8JE
Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Horatia is one of those pubs that tries hard to be friendly and welcoming, but sometimes misses the mark. Phil found the gluten-free beer a lifesaver, while James gave a thumbs up for the pub quiz and Sammy's lovely service. It’s a cozy spot with board games, perfect for chilling with mates over a pint. But don’t be fooled; there’s some drama lurking beneath the surface. Some customers have had to deal with a power-tripping manager, turning what could be a fun night into a cringe-worthy incident.
For a laid-back evening with friends, it’s a decent choice, but steer clear if you value a smooth experience without any potential awkwardness. It’s a pub that exists, good for a drink, but don't expect a night out to remember.
