The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Chucs Bar and Grill is like the bland cousin at the family reunion. The service is quick and polite, but the food is a bit of a snooze fest. Alice raves about the authentic Italian vibe, and the tiramisu has its fans, but if you’re expecting fireworks, you might want to look elsewhere. The cacio de pepe gets a thumbs up, but also a side of 'meh' from some diners who expected more pizazz.
The outdoor seating is pleasant, which is a plus if you want to pretend you’re somewhere swanky. But at the end of the day, you're paying London rates for something that feels a little too average. If you want a reliable meal but don’t mind playing it safe, Chucs might just fit the bill.
