The Arab Quarter is a delightful escape into the world of Middle Eastern sweets. If youβre after knafeh nabulsi, look no further; Ali was smitten with it, and it seems to be a local favorite. The ambiance is cozy, perfect for an intimate dessert session, but prepare your wallet for the pricey Arabic coffee. Fardowsa enjoyed the cream-filled Qatayef, while Adrian was impressed by the Syrian pastries. If you have a sweet tooth, consider this your new hangout spot. π°
However, not everything is sunshine and roses. Some felt the service could be a little pushy with recommendations, especially if youβre not familiar with the menu. Still, the quality of the sweets and the warm hospitality from the staff make it a worthwhile visit. Just be ready for a mix of high prices and delightful tastes.
"Lovely knafeh nabulsi. The Arabic coffee was great but at Β£9.50 itβs steep."
"I tried the cream filled Qatayef which kinda reminded me of Jalebis."
"The moment you walk in, youβre welcomed by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly made treats."
